The raw material is collected, shredded, and then mixed again and homogenised into a high-class PLA lament, definitely more environmentally friendly. ECO RE PLA retains the properties of the classic PLA (polylactide), i.e. the ease and efficiency of printing, with a very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength.

ZERO WASTE

ECO rePLA is an ecological filament for 3D printing. The material is produced by reusing a stream of residual waste from embossing. The raw material is collected, shredded, and then mixed again and homogenised into a high-class PLA lament, definitely more environmentally friendly.

FUNCTIONALITY

The most common difficulties related to 3D printing (especially when using technical materials or engineering) can include, among others poor adhesion to the table, warping, high operating temperatures (up to 400 ° C) or the need to use a closed or heated chamber working.

ECO rePLA filament can be printed relatively low temperatures as it has a low tendency to warp. Of this therefore it is perfect for beginners users who do not yet have a professional, advanced equipment. The filament will also successfully fulfill the expectations of experienced specialists who need it plastics for quick printing of a cheap prototype.

WIDE CHOICE AND LOW PRICE

ECO rePLA as regular PLA is one of the cheapest basic filaments for 3D printing. When using it, the cost of creating a small the model is only a dozen or so pennies. Thanks to that in case conceptual changes and the preparation of further variants losses are reduced to a minimum, and the resulting ones the waste is safe and biodegradable. rePLA can contain wood, but also incl. marble, metal or ceramics. For this he will to enrich it with special substances through which the filament it will be e.g. shiny, fluorescent or thermochromic.

PRINTING PARAMETERS

Same as standard PLA, ECO rePLA is one of the few materials for 3D printing, which does not have to be applied on a heated rePLAtform - in properly adjusted conditions, it will be defatted, glass table or surface covered with painter's tape or even with a layer of glue stick.

For printer models with a heated work surface it is recommended to set the temperature at 40-60 ° C (in case of higher the so-called elephant feet).

The nozzle temperature should be 185-220° C. When printing of the first layer, however, it is worth raising it by about 5° C to achieve the best possible adhesion. ECO repla filament can be printed relatively quickly, at a speed of 60-90 mm / s.

After the first layer, the highest speed should be set fan. You should also pay attention to the system cooling - it has to cool the material, not the nozzle, because that may lead to its clogging.

The 3D printing industry is associated with plastics, but it does not necessarily have a negative impact on the environment. In order to create more nature-friendly products, we have introduced appropriate changes which allowed us to reduce our carbon footprint.

However, we decided to go a step further. As a result of hard work, supported by many studies and tests, our company has created an ecological line of 3D printing materials. We intend to develop it on an ongoing basis, so that it can reach every home, workshop, laboratory or other places which, just like us, are ready to get involved in the fight for the environment and a better future.

Recycled wood fiber spools

When choosing the material for the spools, we focused on the material with a low CO2 emission. Our spools are made of recycled material, with 40% natural wood fibers. Wood has a negative CO2 emission factor, because a tree grows up to take CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis. In this way, we have further lowered the product's carbon footprint. In addition, such a spool has a natural scent of wood and a pleasant-to-touch texture.

Cardboard recycled paper box

All of the materials are packed in environmentally friendly recycled cardboard boxes, marked with the RESY symbol. This mark guarantees the disposal and reuse of all of the transport and external packaging made of paper/cardboard. The marking complies with the requirements specified in the German act on transport packaging

An eco-friendly film and absorber

The spools are wrapped in 100% biodegradable foil and packed in an ecological, transparent, soft LD PE bag (polyethylene with the PZH approval, approved for contact with food and with the d2w Certicate attestation). The package includes a moisture absorber with bentonite clay - a completely natural product in the form of a sedimentary rock, containing mainly montmorillonite (a type of silicate). It absorbs moisture perfectly. After being absorbed, it does not dissolve, but swells (takes the form of a sponge).
