A material with properties similar to ABS, but with increased resistance to UV light and water. It is used as a replacement for the production of outside use parts. Ideally suited for end use applications in the automotive industry.

MAX ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is a material with properties similar to ABS, but it is more resistant to impact, changing weather conditions and UV light. It is characterized by stiffness, thermal stability and high chemical resistance. It is used, among others, for the production of parts exposed to weather phenomena, e.g. signs, housings or unpainted automotive parts. The material has a medium shrinkage and requires the use of a heated platform.
